Adah Atoh Muyang
Adah Atoh Muyang is a respected peacebuilding expert and mediator with over 16 years of experience in conflict resolution, peace negotiations, and community engagement. She serves as the Executive Director of Mother of Hope Cameroon (MOHCAM) and currently leads the Women’s Peace Builders Network (WOPEN).
Adah is widely recognised for her leadership in addressing the socio-political tensions in Cameroon’s Anglophone regions. Collaborating with local, national, and international organisations, she facilitates peace talks, builds community trust, and promotes inclusive dialogue between governmental authorities and separatist groups.
Her work has been pivotal in organising grassroots peace initiatives, including youth dialogue platforms, reconciliation workshops, and training programs for emerging peace advocates. These efforts have created critical spaces for young people to engage in constructive dialogue and adopt non-violent approaches to conflict resolution.
Adah’s mediation approach centers on inclusive community engagement, cultural sensitivity, and the empowerment of women and marginalised groups. She actively promotes cross-ethnic communication and champions women’s meaningful participation in peace processes. A passionate advocate for human rights, gender equality, and inclusion, Adah believes that sustainable peace is only possible when all voices are part of the conversation.
