Mossarat Qadeem

Mossarat Qadeem is co-founder of PAIMAN Alumni Trust, a pioneer organisation in preventing/countering violent extremism (P/CVE) in Pakistan. She has a decade of experience in restorative practices (community building, problem solving, harm reducing circles), customised training for organisations, including conflict management and de-escalation, managing high-conflict personalities, negotiation, mediation, mediator skills for working professionals, mediation advocacy, women leaders and organisations.

She not only has expertise in community level, institution and workplace levels mediation but has great experience in regional level mediation. She revived the dying out methodology of local mediation and introduced the Islamic concepts and approaches of mediation. She has engaged in on-the-spot mediation in volatile and violent contexts even with some extremists groups. She brings diverse skills to complex situations, one to one coaching, mediation, and facilitation of groups.

She holds a master degree in Political Science, Peshawar Pakistan as well in Gender studies from Institute of Social Sciences, Hague Netherlands, M.Phil degree
